Norman Rockwell’s name is synonymous with Americana, nostalgia and the Saturday Evening Post. His vivid and affectionate portraits of our country will always be remembered for capturing the essence and innocence of America like no other artist. Although best known for sweet, evocative story-in-a-picture illustrations, Rockwell also made artistic statements about the issues concerning the nation and all Americans.
On August 14th, 15th and 16th, the Kennebunks will be celebrating Norman Rockwell and Small Town America.
